Restricting Certain Products, Categories, and Pages

To restrict certain products, categories, and pages using the Magento 2 “Restrict Products by Customer Groups” extension, follow these steps:

  • Access the backend of your Magento 2 store.
  • Navigate to Addify EXTENSIONS > Addify Restrict Products > Manage Restrict Products.
  • On the “Manage Restrict Products” page, look for an option “Add New Restriction Rule” and click on it to create a new restriction rule.

Configure Rule Settings:

You will now be presented with options to personalize the new restriction rule. Configure the following options:

Title: Add a unique and descriptive title for future reference.

Enable: Select “Yes” to enable the rule.

Priority: Set the rule priority. This determines the order in which multiple rules are applied.

Products Configuration:

Within the rule settings, you’ll find a section related to products. Here, you can choose the products or categories to which this rule should apply.

Select Category: Choose the specific products or categories to which the rule will be applied.

Save Rule:

After configuring the rule settings, find the “Save Rule” button and click it to save the new rule.

By following these steps, you should be able to create a restriction rule that limits access to certain products, categories, or pages based on customer groups.
