Displaying CMS Pages as Popups on Your Store

Customizing the Popup Dimensions

General Settings: To begin displaying CMS pages as popups, you will first need to enable the popup feature. This is controlled through the general settings in your PrestaShop back office.

Enable: Choose Yes to activate the popup functionality

Popup Width: Set the width of the popup in pixels. This defines how wide the popup will appear on the screen

Popup Height: Set the height of the popup in pixels. This defines how tall the popup will be

Creating Rules to Display CMS Pages as Popups

Rules: To control which CMS pages display as popups and under what conditions, you can create specific rules. These rules allow for targeted popups based on customer groups, products, or categories.

Enable: Choose Yes to activate the rule

Rule Name: Assign a descriptive name to the rule for easy identification

Priority: Set the priority level of the rule. Higher priority rules will take precedence over others when multiple rules apply

Enable Groups: Choose whether to enable group-specific restrictions by toggling this setting

  • Group: Select one or more customer groups to which this rule will apply

Front Page: Choose the page type where the popup should appear:

  • Home 
  • Category: 
    • Specify the categories to apply the rule
  • Product: 
    • Specify products to apply the rule

CMS Pages: Mark the specific CMS pages that you want to display as popups. Common examples include:

  • Delivery 
  • Legal Notice
  • Terms and Conditions of Use
  • About Us
  • Secure Payment

After configuring the popup rules and settings, ensure that you save all changes. This will activate the popups according to your specified configurations.

Verify that the popups are working as expected by visiting the relevant pages on your storefront.
