Optimizing Registration and Checkout Pages with Additional Fields
Allowing Extra Fields on the Registration & Checkout Forms
General Settings:
Show Extra Fields on Form: Enable or disable extra fields on the registration and checkout forms.
Label for Extra Fields on Registration Form: Define the label for the additional fields that will appear on the registration form.
Show Extra Fields on Checkout Page: Enable or disable extra fields on the checkout page.
Label for Extra Fields on Checkout Page: Define the label for the additional fields that will appear on the checkout form.
Adding Additional Fields to the Registration Form
Registration Form:
In this section, you can view the log of all custom fields created for the registration form.
You can edit any existing field or create a new one.
Use the drag-and-drop feature to rearrange the order of fields on the registration form.
Creating a New Field:
To create a new field, click on the “+” button. This opens a form where you can define the properties of the new field.
Enable Field: Activate this field by enabling the toggle.
Input Field Name: Enter a unique name for the custom field.
Input Type: Select the type of input for the field from the following options:
- Text
- Textarea
- Number
- Password
- Radiobutton
- Select
- Fileupload
- Switch
- Multiselect
- Checkbox
- Multicheckbox
- Color
- Date
- Time
Placeholder: Provide placeholder text for the input field to guide users.
Description: Provide a description or help text to clarify the field’s purpose.
Field Required: Determine whether the field is mandatory or optional.
