Adding a Group Buy tab to the My Account page enhances the customer experience by providing easy access to group buying opportunities. This feature encourages repeat visits, boosts engagement, and allows users to track their group purchases conveniently. Enabling this tab is a simple yet effective way to increase participation in group buying campaigns.

Step-by-Step Guide to Enable the “Group Buy” Tab

1. Install and Activate the Plugin

Ensure the Group Buy for WooCommerce plugin is installed and activated on your site.

2. Access Group Buy Settings

Navigate to WooCommerce > Group Buy > Settings in your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

3. Enable the Group Buy Tab

Locate the option Enable the “Group Buy” Tab on the My Account Page and toggle it on.

This will add a new Group Buy tab to each customer’s My Account section.

4. Show Group Creator Name (Optional)

Enable Show Group Creator Name if you want users to see who initiated each group. 

5. Set Up the Group Timer

Create urgency by displaying the remaining time for joining group purchases. Choose your preferred format:

  • Counter Form: Displays the remaining time in a countdown (e.g., “1 day 3 hours”).
  • Text Form: Shows the time as text (e.g., “Available for 2 more days”).

6. Save Your Changes

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page to apply the settings.
