Restricting Products, Categories, and Specific Pages

Adding A New Restriction Rule

To create a new restriction rule, navigate to the Manage Restrict Products page and click “Add New.” When adding a new restriction rule, you can personalize the following options.  

Title: Add a unique rule title for future reference 

Enable: Select Yes to enable the rule 

Priority: Set rule priority 

Customer Group: Choose the customer group for the rule. Options include:

  • All Groups
  • Not Logged In
  • General
  • Wholesale
  • Retailer

Products Configuration:

Select Category: Choose the products/categories to apply this rule to

Click “Save Rule” to save the rule settings.

Managing Restriction Rules in a Grid 

To manage your created rules, go to Addify Extensions > Addify Restrict Products. The grid displays the following information about the rules:

  • ID
  • Title
  • Status
  • Priority
  • Customer Group 
  • Created
  • Modified 
  • Action (Edit, Remove)

Additional Actions:

  • Click “Add New” to create a new restriction rule.
  • Use search and filters to find items quickly.
  • Choose which columns to display in the grid.

Configuring General Settings 

General:

Enabled: Choose “Yes” to enable the extension or “No” to disable it

Redirect Setting:

CMS page: Choose where blocked users should be redirected:

  • 404 Not Found
  • Home Page
  • Enable Cookies 
  • Privacy Policy
  • About Us
  • Customer Service 

Click “Save Config” to save the new settings.
