Setting up a new Donation Campaign
Configuring General Settings for the Donations Manager
Here you can configure the following settings:
Active Module: Enable/disable the module
General Advertisement: Enable/disable the general advertisement on your website
Donation Advertisement: Enable/disable the donation advertisement on your website
Viewing a Complete Log of Donation Rules
Prestashop Donations Manager lets users view and track donation rules in a log. Once you have enabled the conditions, you can create new rules using the “+”. You can also edit an existing log by clicking the “Edit” option for each rule.
The log displays useful information like Donation Rule ID, Title, Priority, Status, Date of Creation, and Last Modified Date. You can also perform bulk actions on these rules.
Creating a New Rule
While creating a new rule, you can customize the following options,
Information:
Using the Information tab, you can set the following options:
Active Donation Campaign: Choose ‘Yes’ to activate the donation campaign
Donation Title: Enter a custom donation title that you want to run on your store
Description: Enter a custom description for the donation campaign
Donation Priority: Set the donation rule priority (1 being the highest priority)
Customer Group: Select the customer groups you want to show donation campaigns to:
- Visitor
- Guest
- Customer
Fixed Price/Custom Price: Choose the price type from the options that you want to set as a donation
- Fixed Price
- Custom Price
Donation Expiry Date: Set donation expiry date
Customizing General Advertisement Campaign
General Advertisement:
Using the general advertisement tab, you can set a general donation campaign.
General Advertisement Title: Set custom general advertisement campaign title for future reference
Description: Add a custom description for a general advertisement campaign
Background Image Header/Footer: Choose a general advertisement background image for the header/footer, and don’t use special characters in the image name (valid formats are jpg, png, jpeg, gif)
Background Image Left/Right: Choose a general advertisement background image for left/right, and don’t use special characters in the image name (valid formats are jpg, png, jpeg, gif)
All Donation Campaigns Button: Enable/disable the donation campaign button on a general advertisement
General Text Color: Set the button text color
General Text Background Color: Set the background color of the donation button
Show Advertisement On: Select the pages on which you want to show the general advertisement campaign:
- Home Page
- Product Page
- Cart Page
- Category Page
- CMS Page
Customizing Donation Advertisement Campaign
Donation Advertisement:
Using the donation advertisement tab, you can set a donation campaign.
Donation Advertisement Title: Set custom donation advertisement campaign title for future reference

Adding Custom Product Images for Campaigns
Images:
From the images section, you can select an image as a product image for donation campaigns.
Donation Product Image: Choose any image and don’t use special characters in the image name (valid formats are jpg, png, jpeg, gif)
Managing Home Page Placement for Campaigns
Home Page Placement:
Using the homepage placement settings, you can select the places on the home page where you want to display the donation campaigns banner for both
- General Advertisement Campaign
- Donation Advertisement Campaign
Advertisement places for Home Page are:
- Header
- Footer
Note: Advertisements will not display on the right and left sides of the home page.
Adjusting Product Placement for Campaigns
Product Page Placement:
Using the product page placement settings, you can select the places on the product page where you want to display the donation campaigns banner for both
- General Advertisement Campaign
- Donation Advertisement Campaign
Advertisement places for Product pages include:
- Header
- Footer
- Left
- Right
Adjusting Category Placement for Campaigns
Category Page Placement:
Using the category page placement settings, you can select the places on the category page where you want to display the donation campaigns banner for both
- General Advertisement Campaign
- Donation Advertisement Campaign
Advertisement places for Category Pages are:
- Header
- Footer
- Left
Note: Advertisements will not display on the right side of the category page.
Displaying Campaigns on the Cart Page
