Offering Free Gifts to Customers 

Enabling the Free Gifts Module

Once activated Go to Module Manager > Modules > Addify Free Gifts and select Configure. Now, from the general settings, you can:

  • Activate or deactivate the module anytime you want

Click “Save” to apply the changes.

You can now access various tabs that allow you to create and manage rules, promotions, and design settings for offering free gifts.

Add Pre-defined Rules 

To add pre-defined rules, go to Module Manager > Module > Addify Free gifts and select Configure. Now, from the main menu, select “Pre-Defined Rules”. Here you can:

  • Manage multiple rules and view their:
    • ID
    • Priority 
    • Title 
    • Status 
    • Added Date 
    • Updated Date 
  • You can also select any rule and edit it according to your needs.

To create a new rule, select “+” and add following details:

  • Basic Settings
    • Rule Enable: Toggle the button to enable or disable the rule anytime you want
    • Title: Add a custom title for the rule
    • Priority: Set its priority
    • Type: choose to add a gift type as:
      • Automatic Gifts: Enable this option to automatically add the selected gift product to the customer’s cart.
      • Manual Gifts: Enable this option to allow customers to choose their preferred gift product from a list a list of selected items.
    • Validity: Activate the option to schedule the following rule by adding:
      • Starting and ending date 
  • Rule Type 
    • Select the “Rule Type” button from the top menu and choose from the following options:
      • Buy 1 Get 1 Free 
      • Buy 2 Get 1 Free
      • Buy 3 Get 1 Free
    • User Buy Type: Select any condition from the following options to trigger free gift products for customers:
      • User buys any product 
      • User buys selected product: Add a custom product that customer can buy and receive a free gift.
      • User buys products from selected categories: Select a category to offer gifts when customer purchases any product from that category 
      • User buys products from selected suppliers: Select a supplier to offer gifts when customer purchases any product from that supplier
      • User buys same product: Search and add any product, and customer can get a gift when they buy the selected item
      • User buys product between price range: Select this option to offer free gifts when customers purchase products within a specific price range
        • Add minimum price of the product 
        • Add maximum price of the product 
      • User buys product between stock value:  Select this option to offer free gifts when customers purchase products within a defined stock range
        • Add minimum stock value 
        • Add maximum stock value 
  • Gifts
    • From the top menu, select “Gifts” and choose one of the available options to define which products will be offered as free gifts from your store:
      • Gift any product
      • Gft selected product: Search and add the products you want to offer as free gifts
      • Gift any product from the selected category: Choose a category from the dropdown to offer a random product from that category as a free gift.
      • Gift any product from selected suppliers: Choose a supplier from the dropdown to offer a random product from that supplier as a free gift.
      • Gift product between price range: Offer free gifts for products that fall within a defined price range:
        • Minimum price range 
        • Maximum price range
      • Gift product between stock value: Offer free gifts for products that fall within a defined:
        • Minimum stock range 
        • Maximum stock range

Click “Save” to finalize the rule.

Add Custom Rules

To add custom rules, go to Module Manager > Modules > Addify Free Gifts and select Configure. Now, from the main menu, select “Custom Rules”. Here you can:

  • Manage multiple rules and view their:
    • ID
    • Priority 
    • Title 
    • Status 
    • Added Date 
    • Updated Date 
  • To create a new custom rule, select “+” and add following details:
  • Basic Settings
    • Rule Enable: Toggle the option to enable or disable the rule anytime you want
    • Title: Add custom title for the rule 
    • Priority: Set its priority 
    • Groups: From the dropdown, select specific customer groups for which you want to show free gifts
    • Gift Type: choose to add a gift type as:
      • Automatic Gifts: Gifts will be automatically added to users cart upon meeting the criteria 
      • Manual Gifts: Gifts will be shown on the cart page upon criteria being met, and the user has to add gifted products manually 
    • Rule Validity: Activate the rule by adding:
      • Starting and ending date 
  • Rule Type 
    • From the top menu, select Rule Type and choose from the following options:
      • Buy X Get Y: Select this option if you want to reward customers with free products based on the selected ( X and Y) item.
      • Based on Cart Value: Select this option if you want to add a total cart amount that the user has to achieve in order to avail free gifts
      • Multiple Gift Tiers: Select this option to create multiple reward tiers where customers receive better gifts as their cart value increases
        • Add Tiers: From the table, select “Add Tiers” and configure the following settings:
          • Gift Type: select the type of gift to offer
          • Total Cart Amount: Set the cart value that customers must reach to receive the defined gift type 

Display Promotional Messages 

To display promotional messages, go to Module Manager > Modules > Addify Free Gifts and select Configure. Now, from the main menu, go to “Promotions”. Here you can:

  • Manage multiple promotional rules and view their:
    • ID
    • Priority 
    • Title 
    • Status 
    • Added Date 
    • Updated Date 
  • To create a new promotional rule, select “+” and add the following details:

Product Selection

  • Enable Promotion: activate the option to display a promotional message on your store. Disable it if you don’t want to highlight any promotional message
  • Title: Add a custom title for the promotion 
  • Type: choose where to display the promotional message:
    • Whole store 
    • Products 
    • Categories 
    • Suppliers 

Click “Save” to activate the promotion.

Customizing Design Settings

  • Go to “Design” and add the following details:
  • Position: select the placement of the free gift promotional message:
    • Top bar 
    • Bottom bar 
  • Bar Width: add a custom bar width 
  • Enable background image: upload a custom image to use as the background for the promotional bar. 
  • Background: set a custom background color for the promotional bar
  • Text color: choose the desired text color and font style for better visibility
  • Message: Add additional content that will be displayed for the banner 

Click “Save” to apply the design settings.

Manage Multiple Gift Tier Rules 

To manage gift tier rules, go to Module Manager > Modules > Addify Free Gifts and select Configure. Now, from the main menu, select “Gift Tiers”. Here you can create and manage multiple tiered rules and view the following details:

  • ID 
  • Title 
  • Status 
  • Added Date 
  • Updated Date

To see Gift Tier in action, go to Custom Rules > Rule Type > Multiple Gift Teirs

Here you can choose tiers created in tiers log.
