Activating Password Protection on Your Store
General Settings: In the “General Settings” tab, you will see several options that allow you to enable and customize password protection. These settings include:
Module Active: Toggle this option to enable or disable the password protection module
Global Password: If enabled, this sets a global password that will work on all protected pages at all times
- Password: If the global password is enabled, enter the desired password in this field
Contact Us: If enabled, a button will appear on the protected pages, allowing users to send a message to the admin
Customizable Message: Enter a custom message to be displayed on the protected pages
- Message: Enter the custom message that will be shown to users
Email Notification: If enabled, an email will be sent to the admin after an unsuccessful login attempt
Number Tries: Enter the number of consecutive unsuccessful attempts allowed before the email notification is sent
Crawlers: If enabled, search engine crawlers will be allowed to visit the protected page for SEO purposes
After configuring the desired options, click the “Save” button to apply the changes.
