Enabling Redirect After Registration, Login & Logout

Activating Redirection on Your Store

Now, you have successfully installed the module. Go to Modules > Module Manager > Addify Redirect After Login, Logout, and Registration, and click on Configure. 

Enable Addify Redirect: Activate the option to add multiple redirection pages for users. If it is kept disabled, then you can’t apply redirection rules.

Configuring Redirection Rules After Login

Once you are done with general settings, remain on the same page and click on Login Settings. From this section, you can add redirect URLs to guide users to specific pages after they sign up for your store. Now, follow these steps:

• Enable all customer groups’ login redirection: Choose to redirect all customers to specific URLs you add. Disable it if you want to add specific customer groups for redirection
  • Select URL: Now select URLs to redirect all customers to:
    • Default URL(My Account) 
    • Home Url
    • Previous Url 
    • Custom Url
• Add specific customer group redirection: Enable the option to add multiple customer groups and redirect each group to different pages of your store. Keep it disable if you dont want to divide your customer into multiple segments for redirection.
  • Create Groups: Click on Groups link below and create as many customer groups as you want.
  • Add URL for each group: Select desired URLs for each created group
• Enable first-time login redirection: Activate this option if you want to redirect new users to selected redirection pages. If disabled, then first-time sign-ups will be redirected to default URL.
• Select country for login redirection: Select a specific country to redirect customers based on their geolocation.
• Add device type: Set login redirection rules for:
  • PC
  • Laptop 
  • Tablet 
  • Mobile
• Schedule redirection for login: Enable the option if you want to apply this redirection rule on a certain date. You can choose:
  • Start time for login Redirection 
  • End time for login redirection

Apply Logout Redirection Rules

Now, from the above menu, click on Logout Settings. From this section, you can create redirection rules for users logging out from your store:

• All customer groups logout redirection: Enable the option if you want to redirect all customers to the selected URL. Disable it if you want to select specific customers for logout redirection
  • Add URLs: From the dropdown, select redirection pages as:
    • Home URL 
    • Previous URL 
    • Default URL
    • Custom URL
• Specific customer groups redirection: Here, you can create multiple customer groups and add separate redirection pages for each. Disable it if you want to apply it to all customers.
  • Create Groups: Click on the Group link below and create as many groups as possible. Once activated, you can view:
  • Group customer redirection option: No,w from the dropdown, add specific URLs
• First-time logout redirection: Activate it if you want to redirect first-time logouts to selected URLs
• Country selection for logout: Enable the option if you want to redirect users according ot their country.
• Device selection for logout: Add device-based logout redirection pages.
• Schedule redirection for logout: Here, you can schedule logout redirection by adding:
  • Start Date 
  • End Date

Set Redirection Rules After User Registration

From the above-provided options, click Registration Settings. From this section, you can create redirection rules for customers registering for your store:

• Add redirection for all customers: Activate it if you want to redirect all customers to a selected URL. 
• Add URLs: Now, from the dropdown menu, you can select any one option:
  • Home Url 
  • Custom Url
  • Previous Url
  • Default Url
• Select specific customers for redirection: Enable the option if you want to add different redirect pages for different types of customer groups. First, you need to create different groups.
  • Create groups: Click on the group option below the description and add groups such as Wholesalers, VIP members, B2C buyers, etc.
• Add country-based redirection: Select countries for registration redirection
• Add device-based redirection: For redirection, add device types as:
  • PC/Laptop
  • Mobile
  • Tablet 
• Schedule redirection: Enable the option and add:
  • Start redirection date for registration
  • End redirection date for registration
