Creating New Rule
While creating new rule, you can customize following options,
Rule Settings
- Enter the name of the tax (you can also change the language as well from the drop-down menu)
- Enter the rate of the tax
- Enable the tax rule
Tax Options
- Enable tax (Select whether or not to include tax on purchases)
- Enable display tax in the shopping cart
- Enable tax based on the Invoice address or delivery address
- Enable ecotax (If you disable the ecotax, the ecotax for all your products will be set to 0.)
New Tax Rule Group Settings
- Enter the name of the tax rule group
- Enable the tax rule group
- Select all or any specific country from the drop-down menu.
- Enter Zip/Postal code range
- Set the behavior of the tax to one of three given options in the drop-down menu (This tax only, combine and one after another)
- Select any of the tax options you created in the tax options earlier
- Set the description of the tax rule
- Select the group access to visitors, guests and customers.
