Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to configure the price display options.
Step-by-Step Guide to Configuring Price Display Options
1. Install and Activate the Module
Download and install the PrestaShop Show Dual Prices – Inclusive & Exclusive of Taxes module.
After installation, navigate to the module settings and toggle the “Module Active” option to enable it.
2. Access the General Settings
Go to the General Settings tab of the module.
Ensure the module is enabled, and review basic preferences.
3. Create a New Rule
Navigate to the Rules Tab and click on the “+” button to add a new rule.
4. Configure Price Display Options
After creating a rule, navigate to the Price Display Options section and configure the following:
A. Tax-Excluded and Tax-Included Prices
- Tax Excluded Price First: Enable this option to display tax-excluded prices first, followed by tax-included prices.
B. Choose Where Prices Appear
- Price Show On: Select where the prices will be displayed:
- Product Listing: Show prices on category and search result pages.
- Product Page: Show prices on individual product detail pages.
- Both: Display prices in both locations.
C. Select the Prices to Display
- Price to Show: Choose one of the following options:
- Price Included Tax: Display only tax-inclusive prices.
- Price Excluded Tax: Display only tax-exclusive prices.
- Both: Show both prices for better clarity.
D. Customize Labels and Positioning
- Position of Price and Label: Choose how the label appears relative to the price:
- Price Before Label: Display the price before the label (e.g., “$100 – Excl. Tax”).
- Price After Label: Display the price after the label (e.g., “Excl. Tax – $100”).
- Show Price Label: Enable or disable the display of price labels.
- Custom Labels:
- Included Tax Label: Enter a custom label for tax-included prices (e.g., “Incl. Tax”).
- Excluded Tax Label: Enter a custom label for tax-excluded prices (e.g., “Excl. Tax”).
5. Save the Configuration
Click the Save button to apply the changes.
