Restricting Text for Selected Products, Categories, Manufacturers, & Suppliers
The PrestaShop Text Before and After Price module allows you to restrict text before and after prices based on specific products, categories, manufacturers, and suppliers. Store owners can display custom messages to promote targeted offers, clarify product details, and highlight exclusive deals.
Follow the step-by-step guide here:
1. Install the PrestaShop Text Before and After Price module by Addify.
2. Navigate to “Modules” in your PrestaShop backend, and locate the installed module. Click on it to open the settings.
3. Go to the General Settings tab. Toggle the option to enable the module, which activates its features on your store. Click Save to apply the changes.
4. In the module’s settings, select the Rules tab to start configuring custom text options. Click Add New Rule to define where and how the text will appear.
5. Configure the rule details:
Enable the Rule: Ensure the rule is activated so that it applies based on your configurations.
Title: Provide a clear, descriptive name for the rule to easily identify it later.
Priority: Assign a numeric value (greater than 0) to set the rule’s priority. Higher numbers mean the rule is applied first if multiple rules exist.
Customer Groups: Choose specific groups if needed, or leave it for all customers.
6. Disable ‘Apply on All Products’: Uncheck the Apply on All Products option if you want to limit the rule to specific products, categories, manufacturers, or suppliers.
7. Select Products, Categories, Suppliers, and Manufacturers:
Product Selection: Enable this option, search, and add individual products where the custom text should be applied.
Category Selection: Choose categories to display the text across all products within those categories.
Supplier Selection: Specify suppliers whose products will show the text.
Manufacturer Selection: Define manufacturers for whom the custom text will be displayed.
8. Provide the necessary details for the rule.
9. Once all configurations are done, click Save to activate the rule.
