Enabling Best Price on Products
Viewing Best Price Requests in a Log
Go to WooCommerce > Best Price.
Here you can:
- View a complete list of all the best price requests in a log
- Perform bulk actions to edit or delete any request
- Apply filters based on the date
- Search for an existing best-price request from the search bar
Click on “Add New” to add a new best-price request:
Add Title: Provide a title for the best price request. This title will help you identify and manage the request
Product Detail:
Product Name: Enter the name of the product for which the customer is requesting a better price
User: Specify the name of the user making the request
Email Address: Enter the email address of the user
Coupon Discount Price: Provide the proposed discounted price
Website: Indicate the website or store where the product is listed
Admin Note: Write a custom note to show in the email to the customer (save the post before agreeing/rejecting the proposal)
Accept/Reject: Once you have reviewed the request, you have the following options:
- Accept: To accept the best price request from the customer
- Reject: To reject the best price request from the customer
Configuring the Best Price Button
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Best Price Setting > General.
Activate Plugin: Enable the Plugin to activate the Best Price feature
Button Text Field: Enter the text you want to display on the Best Price button
Show the Button: Choose where you want to display the Best Price button on the product page. You have the following options:
- Before Price
- After Price
- Before Add to Cart Button
- After Add to Cart Button
- Before Product Excerpt
Show Product Info: Check this option if you want to hide product information in the Best Price modal window
Show Site URL: Choose whether to show or hide the site URL field in the Best Price popup
Required Site URL: Check this option if you want to make the site URL field a required field in the Best Price popup
Show Note: Choose whether to show or hide the note field in the Best Price popup
Required Price Field: Check this option if you want to make the note field a required field in the Best Price popup
Modal Width: Specify the width of the Best Price modal window
Modal Height: Specify the height of the Best Price modal window
Additional Field Message: Enter any additional information or instructions for customers regarding the fields or the Best Price feature
Customizing the Best Price Label in Popup
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Best Price Setting > Labels.
Popup Title: Enter the label for the field where users can suggest the title of their request
Price Field: Specify the label for the field where users can suggest the price they are willing to pay
Website Field: Define the label for the field where users can suggest the website or source of the product
Note Field: Provide the label for the field where users can add notes or comments about the product or their request
Success Message: Customize the message that will be displayed when users’ requests have been successfully submitted
Error Message: Set an error message to be displayed in case there is an issue with the user’s request submission.
Selecting the Color Scheme for the Popup
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Best Price Setting > Colors.
Popup Background Color: Select the background color for the Best Price popup
Popup Title Color: Choose the text color for the popup title
Popup Title Background Color: Set the background color for the popup title area
Popup Title Border Color: Define the border color for the popup title area
Popup Product Info Border Color: Specify the border color for the product information section in the popup
Popup Product Name Color: Customize the text color for the product name in the popup
Popup Form Background Color: Select the background color for the form section of the popup
Popup Form Border Color: Choose the border color for the form section of the popup
Popup Input Border Color: Define the border color for input fields in the popup
Popup Input Background Color: Set the background color for input fields in the popup
Popup Input Label: Customize the label color for input fields
Submit Button Text Color: Choose the text color for the submit button in the popup
Submit Button Background Color: Specify the background color for the submit button
Managing Best Price Coupons
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Best Price Setting > Coupon-Setting.
Coupon Setting:
Coupon Expiry Date: Set the expiration date for Best Price coupons. Coupons will no longer be valid after this date
Prefix: Define a prefix for your Best Price coupons. This can help you identify and categorize coupons easily
Usage Limit Per User: Specify the maximum number of times a user can use a Best Price coupon
Usage Limit Per Coupon: Set the maximum number of times any given Best Price coupon can be used
