Restricting the Access to Upload Files Based on User Roles
To restrict access to upload files based on user roles with Checkout Files Upload for WooCommerce, follow these steps:
Go to WooCommerce > Checkout Files Upload > File Upload Rules.
Click on the “Add file upload rule” button.
While creating a new rule, customize the following settings under “User Roles”:
User Roles: Select the specific user roles for which you want to display the file upload field. Leave this field empty to allow all user roles to access the file upload field. The available user roles might include:
- Guest
- Administrator
- Editor
- Author
- Contributor
- Subscriber
- Customer
- Manager
- Wholesale
- B2B
- Retailer
After selecting the desired user roles, click the “Publish” button to save the rule.
