Attaching Files Based on Products or Categories
To attach files specifically for certain products or categories in WooCommerce using the Custom Email Attachment for WooCommerce plugin, follow these steps:
Go to WooCommerce > Custom Attachments.
Click on “Add New” to create a new custom attachment. Fill in the necessary information, such as the attachment title.
Select Product Attachment Type:
Locate the option “Product Attachment Type” under General Settings. Choose between:
- All Products: To attach files to emails for all products
- Specific Products: To attach files only for certain products
Specify Products (If Applicable):
If you chose “Specific Products,” you’ll need to specify the products to which the attachment should be applied.
Use the product selector or input the product names or IDs.
Specify Categories (Optional):
If you want to attach files for products in specific categories, you can choose “Specific Categories” and specify the categories.
Click on “Publish” to save the custom attachment.
Verify that the attachment is included in the order email for the specified products or categories.
