Restricting Settings by User Roles
To tailor the shopping experience to different user roles on your WooCommerce store, you can restrict certain settings based on user roles. Here’s how you can do it:
Install and Activate the Plugin: Begin by installing and activating the “Digital Goods for WooCommerce Checkout” plugin on your WooCommerce store. This plugin offers customization options to optimize the checkout process, particularly for digital products.
Access Plugin Settings: Once the plugin is activated, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Digital Goods for Checkout.
Locate “Select User Role”: In the plugin settings, you’ll find the “Select User Role” section. This feature allows you to specify which user roles will have access to certain checkout options, such as the quick checkout feature.
Specify User Roles: Within the “Select User Role” section, specify the user roles that you want to grant access to the quick checkout option. You can choose from a range of user roles, such as administrators, subscribers, or custom user roles created through other plugins.
Save Changes: After specifying the user roles, click “Save Changes” to apply the settings to your WooCommerce store.
By restricting settings based on user roles, you can personalize the shopping experience for different groups of users. For example, you might want to offer the quick checkout option exclusively to registered users or to users with a certain membership level. This level of customization enhances user satisfaction and can lead to increased conversions and loyalty among your customer base.
