Creating Personalized Custom Order Numbers in WooCommerce
Custom order numbers can help you organize and categorize your orders more efficiently. For creating custom order numbers using the Addify Custom Order Number for WooCommerce plugin, follow these steps:
- Go to WooCommerce > Custom Order Number > Order Number Settings.
- Check the Enable Plugin box. When disabled, the custom order numbers are not applied to new orders.
- In the Order Number Format field, enter your preferred order number format using placeholders like {COUNTER} and {WEEK}.
- Specify the starting value for the Counter Tag; changing this value will reset the counter to the specified value.
- Define the Increment Value for the counter in the Counter Number Steps.
- Choose how frequently the counter resets automatically by selecting one of the options under Intervals of Resetting Counter.
- You can manually reset the current counter value by selecting “Yes” for the Reset Counter Now option.
- If you want a fixed length for the counter value, enable the Enable Counter Length option and set your desired counter reference length.
- Finally, click Save Settings to apply your new configuration.
