Adding Product-Level Custom Tabs
To add product-level custom tabs with WooCommerce Custom Product Tabs and disable global tabs if needed, follow these steps:
Go to your WooCommerce dashboard and navigate to Products > Add New.
In the “Product Data” panel of the new product, find the option labeled “Custom Tabs.”
Click on “Add Tab” to create a new custom tab for this specific product.
Configure Custom Tab Settings:
Configure the settings for the custom tab using the available options:
Enable/Disable Custom Tab: Choose whether to enable or disable the custom tab for this product.
Title: Enter a title for the custom tab. This title will be displayed on the product page.
User Access Settings:
Choose whether to restrict access to specific users or user roles.
Search Specific User: Select specific users from the list
User Roles: Specify which user roles should have access to this tab. Leave it empty for all user roles

Callback Options:
Choose between “Editor” or “Contact 7 Form” for the callback.

Tab Styling:
Enable this option to customize the appearance of the custom tab.
Custom Tab Icon: Upload an icon for the custom tab. This icon will represent the content or purpose of the tab.
Custom Tab Background Image: Upload a background image for the custom tab. Ensure that it complements your site’s design.
Custom Tab Text Color: Define the text color for the custom tab. Choose a color that ensures good visibility.
Disabling Global Tabs
In the “Product Data” panel of the product you are editing, find the option labeled “Tabs Sorting.”
Disable Global Tabs (if needed):
Enable the “Disable Global Tabs” checkbox if you want to disable global tabs specifically for this product.
Customize Default Tabs:
Customize the default tabs for this product using the following options:
Enable/Disable Default Tabs: Enable or disable default tabs like “Description,” “Review,” and “Additional Information” based on your product’s needs.
Rename Tabs: For each enabled default tab, you can rename them to better suit your product.
- Enable Description Tab: Check this box to display the Description tab.
- Rename Description Tab: Enter the desired text to change the title of the Description tab.
- Enable Review Tab: Check this box to display the Review tab.
- Rename Review Tab: Enter the desired text to change the title of the Review tab.
- Enable Additional Information Tab: Check this box to display the Additional Information tab.
- Rename Additional Information Tab: Enter the desired text to change the title of the Additional Information tab.
Enable Tabs Sorting:
Enable the “Enable Tabs Sorting” checkbox if you want to re-order the tabs.
Re-order Tabs:
Drag and drop the tabs to re-order them as you like. This allows you to set the sequence of both custom and default tabs for this specific product.
Save or Publish:
Click on “Save Draft” or “Publish” to save the changes to the product.
By following these steps, you can add product-level custom tabs with specific settings for each product in WooCommerce. Additionally, you have the option to disable global tabs for individual products if needed.
