Sorting and Customizing Default Tabs
To sort and customize default tabs, including changing titles, reordering, and disabling them in WooCommerce, follow these steps:
Sorting Custom & Default Tabs Globally
Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Product Custom Tabs > Tabs Sorting.
In the “Custom Product Tabs Sorting” section, you can drag the tabs to re-order both custom and default tabs as you prefer.
Sorting Tabs for Individual Products
Go to Products > Add New.
In the “Product Data” panel, locate the option “Tabs Sorting.”
Disable Global Tabs (if needed): Enable the “Disable Global Tabs” checkbox if you want to disable the global tabs for this specific product.
Customize Default Tabs: Customize the default tabs for this specific product using the following options:
Enable/Disable Default Tabs: Enable or disable default tabs like “Description,” “Review,” and “Additional Information” based on your product’s requirements.
Rename Tabs: For each enabled default tab:
- Enable Description Tab: Check this box to display the Description tab.
- Rename Description Tab: Enter the desired text to change the title of the Description tab.
- Enable Review Tab: Check this box to display the Review tab.
- Rename Review Tab: Enter the desired text to change the title of the Review tab.
- Enable Additional Information Tab: Check this box to display the Additional Information tab.
- Rename Additional Information Tab: Enter the desired text to change the title of the Additional Information tab.
Enable Tabs Sorting: Enable the “Enable Tabs Sorting” checkbox if you want to sort the tabs.
Re-order Tabs: Drag and drop the tabs to re-order them as you like. This allows you to set the sequence of both custom and default tabs for this specific product.
Save or Update:
Click on “Save Draft” or “Update” to save the changes to the product.
