Setting Specific Duration for Messages
If you want to set a specific duration for a message to display in a WooCommerce Dynamic Cart & Checkout Notice, follow these steps:
- Go to WP Admin Panel > Cart Notices > Add New Notice.
- Provide a title for your notice.
Enabling Conditions to Trigger Notices:
Under “Cart Notice Conditions,” you will find options to set the start date, expiry date, and expiry time for the message.
- Start Date: Set the start date for when you want the message to begin displaying.
- Expiry Date: Set the end date for when you want the message to stop displaying.
- Expiry Time: Set the message expiry time according to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The default time is 12:00 PM.
- Choose User Roles: Specify user roles for which the notice will be applicable. Leave this field empty for the notice to be applicable to all user roles.
- Choose Countries: Geo-location must be enabled in WooCommerce settings for this option. Leave this field empty for the notice to be applicable to all countries.
Save or Publish:
Once you’ve configured the conditions, save or publish the notice.
By setting the start date, expiry date, and expiry time, you can control when the notice will be active and for how long. This is useful for displaying time-sensitive messages, promotions, or announcements.
