Specifying Step Quantities
To specify step quantities and achieve precise control over increments using the WooCommerce Min Max Quantities by User Roles plugin, follow these steps:
Install and Activate Plugin: Begin by installing and activating the WooCommerce Min Max Quantities by User Roles plugin on your WordPress website.
Navigate to Global Settings: After activation, go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to WooCommerce > Addify Min Max Quantity > Global. This is where you’ll configure the quantity limits.
Locate Step Quantity: In the settings table, you’ll find the “Step Quantity” parameter. This option allows you to set the increment value for quantities. Here’s how it works:
- Step Quantity Definition: The step quantity defines the increment by which users can add products to their cart. For example, if the step quantity is set to 2, users can only purchase quantities in multiples of 2. This means they can add 2, 4, 6, 8, and so on, to their cart, but not quantities like 1, 3, or 5.

For instance, if your products are sold in packs or bundles, you might set the step quantity to match the pack size.
Save Settings: Once you’ve adjusted the step quantity and any other settings according to your requirements, click on “Save Settings” to apply the changes.
