Managing Rules in Order List 

The Order List of the WooCommerce Name Your Price plugin contains the list of existing rules. Listed below are the key features you can perform on the existing rules:

  • View, edit, or delete any rule 
  • Perform bulk actions 
  • Search for an existing rule in the search bar
  • Filter the rules by month or year
  • Add new rules when needed 

Adding A New Rule 

To add a new rule to the order list, go to WooCommerce > Name Your Prices > Order List > Add new rule. 

Once you’ve clicked on “Add New Rule,” you’ll have a range of customization options to choose from. These options typically include:

  • Add Title: Add a descriptive name for the rule 
  • User Roles: From the drop-down, select the user role for which you want to apply the rule:
    • Administrator
    • Editor
    • Author
    • Contributor
    • Subscriber
    • Customer 
    • Shop Manager
    • Wholesale 
    • B2B
    • Retailer
    • Guest
  • Search Category: Add categories to which you want to apply the rule (you can add as many categories as you want)
  • Search Product: Add products to which you want to apply the rule (you can add many products as you want) 
  • Suggested Price: Set the suggested price of the product
  • Maximum Price: Set the maximum price of the product
  • Minimum Price: Set the minimum price of the product 
  • Text for Suggested Price: Set the text for the suggested price
  • Text for Maximum Price: Set the text for the maximum price 
  • Text for Minimum Price: Set the text for the minimum price 
  • Text for Name Your Price: Set the text for the “Name Your Price” option 
  • Price Options: Set text for prices option 

If you want to set the priority of a rule, please follow these steps:

  • Look for the “Priority Box” section on the right of the order list page
  • Within the “Priority Box,” find the “Order” option
  • Assign a number to indicate the rule’s priority, with 1 being the highest priority.

Configuring General Settings

After configuring the order list, navigate to the Settings Page. You can set labels for various error messages on this page:

  • Minimum price Error: This custom message appears when users try to add a price less than the minimum limit (e.g., “enter amount higher than the minimum price”)
  • Maximum price Error: This custom message appears when users try to add a price greater than the maximum limit (e.g., “enter amount lower than the maximum price”)
  • Negative Price text: This custom message appears when users try to add a price lower than “0”
  • Hide price: Enable this option to show the prices for a single page

Click “Save Changes” when you are done.
