Generate Single or Multiple Passwords
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to generate single or multiple passwords using the Password Protected Categories and Shop plugin for WooCommerce:
Download the .zip file for the “Addify – Password Protect Store” plugin from your WooCommerce account.
Go to your WordPress Admin Panel.
Navigate to Plugins and click on “Add New.”
Choose “Upload Plugin” and upload the .zip file you downloaded.
Click “Install Now.”
After installation, click “Activate” to activate the Password Protected Categories and Shop plugin.
Access Password Rules:
Upon activating the plugin, a new option labeled “Password Protected Store” will appear in the WP Admin Panel.
Navigate to “Password Protected Store” and click on “Password Rules” to get started with setting up password protection.
Adding a New Password Rule:
Manage Rules:
To set up password protection for your WooCommerce shop, go to the ‘Manage Rules’ screen within your admin panel.
Create a New Rule:

View Rule Passwords:
To view the passwords linked to a selected rule, click ‘View Rule Passwords.’
Adding a New Rule Password:
If you wish to add a new rule password, click the “Add New Passwords” button on the “Manage Passwords” page.
Add/Import Passwords:
There are two ways to input passwords for your rules:
- Add Multiple Passwords Separated by Commas: Manually add multiple passwords separated by commas.
- Import Passwords from a CSV File: Prepare a CSV file with the passwords you want to import.
Back to Passwords Button:
Use the “Back to Passwords” button to return to the previous screen or interface where you manage your passwords.
Add Passwords Manually:
Click on “Add Passwords” to manually add passwords to protect your categories or shop.

Import Passwords from CSV File:
- Click on “Import Passwords from CSV File.”
- Select the file you want to import.
- Click the “Import Passwords” button.
