Configuring Automated Pre-order Status When a Product Goes Out of Stock?
WooCommerce Pre Order provides the functionality to automatically switch the product status to pre-order when it goes out of stock. Here’s how you can configure it:
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Pre Order and Backorder Manager > General settings.
- Configure Stock Settings from here to automatically enable or disable the pre order status of products.
- Automatic Pre Orders (Out of Stock): Enable this setting for out-of-stock products to automatically obtain pre order status and revert to cart once restocked.
- Quantity Above Zero: Disable pre order status for products with a quantity above zero.
After configuring the pre-order settings and stock management, save the changes.
