Setting Up Customizable Add-ons

Adding A New Custom Product Add-on 

Choose from the following options to customize settings at the product and category levels.

1. Add Title: Enter the Addon title that will display as a new Addon rule
2. Select Product: Select products on which you want to show fields
3. Select Category: Select the categories on which you want to show fields
4. Select Tag: Select tags on which you want to show fields

Note: Leave empty to show on all Products, Categories, and Tags.

Restricting Add-Ons Based on User Roles

1. User Roles: If you want to show add-ons to specific users, select a user role from the drop-down menu (Leave it empty if you want to show add ons to all users).

• Customer
• Shop manager
• Wholesale
• B2B
• Retailer
• Guest 

Configuring Field Settings

Add multiple fields to your product manually or import them by uploading a file. Once the fields are created, they can be exported as well.

1. Set Field Priority: Specify a number to set priority for that specific field.
2. Field Dependable: Choose to set the field as dependable or not.
3. Field Type: Choose from 17 different field types:

• Dropdown
• Multi select
• Check boxes
• Input text
• Text area 
• File upload
• Number
• Radio
• Quantity
• Color
• Image Switcher
• Image
• Date Picker
• Email
• Password
• Time Picker
• Telephone

4. Add Field Title

5. Add Tooltip
6. Add Field Description
7. Required Field: Mark the field as required.
8. Add Option: Add multiple field options with price type and set their priority.
   • Option Label
   • Price Type: Select price type from the dropdown menu.
     • Free 
     • Flat Fixed Fee
     • Flat Percentage Fee
     • Fixed Fee Based On Quantity
     • Percentage Fee Based on Quantity
   • Set Price
   • Set Priority

Configuring Style Settings

Configure the style settings using the following options:

1. Title Display As: Select the type of which you want the title to be displayed:

• If you select the heading from the dropdown:
  • Heading: Select the heading type of which you want to show the title.
  • Title Color
  • Title Background: Checkmark if you want to add a background in the title:
    1. Title Background Color
    2. Background Radius
    3. Background Padding
• If you select text from the dropdown:
  • Title Font Size
  • Title Color
  • Title Background: Checkmark if you want to add a background in the title:
    1. Title Background Color
    2. Background Radius
    3. Background Padding

2. Options Title Font Size: Select your desired font size for the option’s title. The size will only apply to checkboxes, radio buttons & drop-down fields.

3. Options Title Font Color: Select your desired options font color. The color will only apply to checkboxes, radio buttons & drop-down fields. 

4. Add Separator: Select the checkbox if you want to add a separator after the title:

• Separator: Select the separator from the dropdown: (By default, the separator will be a single line break)
  • Single line break
  • Thematic break

5. Field Border: Enable this option to apply the border on the field and customize it as needed.

• Border Pixels

6. Field Title Position: Select title position: 

• Left 
• Right 
• Center 

7. Title Position: Select title position:

• Inside border
• Outside border

8. Description Font Size: Set the description font size

9. Tooltip Background Color: Select the tooltip background color

10. Tooltip Text Color: Select the tooltip text color

11. Tooltip Font Size: Enter the tooltip font size 

Adding a New Add On Field

Go to Fields > Add Field

You can now customize fields with the following settings:

1. Priority: Set the priority order of the added fields. e.g., “1”, “2”, “3”, etc. 
2. Field Dependability: Set whether a field should be “Dependable” or “Not dependable” on another field. (Field may depend on a specific option of another existing field)
3. Field Types: Choose from 17 add-on field types
4. Field Title: Add Field title
5. Required Field: Make the field mandatory

Adding a New Option to Created Fields

Go to Fields > Add Option

Create and customize field options using the below settings:

1. Option Title: Add a title for the added Field
2. Add Tooltip: Add text to describe the field (one-liner)
3. Add Description: Add text to describe the field
4. Add Field Options:
   • Price Type: (Free, Flat Fixed Fee, Flat Percentage Fee, Fixed Fee Based on Quantity, Percentage Fee Based on Quantity)
   • Price: Add the desired price
   • Priority: Add sorting order

Making a Selection from 17 Different Add On Fields

Select an add on field type from the following 17 options: 

1. Drop Down: Allow customers to choose from a list of options
2. Check Boxes: Allow customers to select one option 
3. Multi-select: Allow customers to select multiple options
4. Input Text: Allow customers to add text (one-liner)
5. Text area: Allow customers to add descriptive text 
6. File Upload: Allow customers to upload files 
7. Number: Allow customers to add a number. E.g., “Cellphone number,” “age,” house number,” etc. 
8. Quantity: Allow customers to add a number to specify the quantity
9. Radio:  Allow customers to choose from one of the given options 
10. Color: Allow customers to select a color
11. Image Switcher: Allow customers to choose from one of the image options 
12. Image:  Allow customers to choose from multiple images
13. Date Picker: Allow customers to select a date
14. Email: Allow customers to add an email address 
15. Password: Allow customers to add password 
16. Time Picker: Allow customers to choose a time 
17. Telephone: Allow customers to add their cellphone number 

Adding Add-Ons to Existing Products

Go to Products > select any product to Edit > Product Data > Add-Ons. The new add-ons created here will only be visible on that specific product.

• Configure the style settings for that specific product from here.
• Add new fields or import and export existing fields.
• Creating add-ons options.
• Create additional add-ons.
