Enabling Product Reservations for Customers
Reserving products allows customers to hold items they are interested in without the fear of them selling out. To provide your customers with the ability to reserve products in their carts for a specific time frame using the WooCommerce Reserve Stock on Add to Cart plugin, follow these straightforward steps:
- Access your WordPress Admin Panel and navigate to WooCommerce > Reserve Stock.
- Create a new product reservation rule or modify an existing one to meet your requirements.
- Configure the rule settings and scroll down to the User Roles section.
- Select the ‘customers’ checkbox to activate product reservations for your customers.
- Choose the specific products and categories to which you want this rule to apply.
- Set the desired time duration for product reservations, then click the Publish button to save your changes.
