Configuration of WooCommerce Terms & Conditions Checkbox 

Adding Unlimited Terms and Conditions to Your Store

Go to WooCommerce > Addify Terms and Conditions. 

Once in the Addify Terms and Conditions section, click on “Add New” to start creating a new checkbox.

You’ll be prompted to give the checkbox a unique title.

Applying Restrictions to the Terms and Conditions Rule

Select Products: Choose which products the terms and conditions will apply to.

Select Categories: Apply the terms and conditions to entire product categories.

Select Tags: Target products with specific tags to apply the terms and conditions.

Select Countries: Specify the countries where the terms and conditions will be enforced.

Select Users: Choose which users or user roles will be subject to the terms and conditions.

Positioning the Checkbox on Multiple Pages

Positions: 

Enable On Product Page: Checkmark this option to enable the checkbox on the product page.

Specify its placement by choosing from the following options:

  • WooCommerce Before Add to Cart Button
  • WooCommerce After Add to Cart Button
  • Custom Hook: Use a custom hook by specifying the hook name and priority. 

Enable On Cart Page: Checkmark this option to enable the checkbox on the cart page.

Specify its placement by choosing from the following options:

  • WooCommerce Before Cart Table
  • WooCommerce After Cart Table
  • Custom Hook: Use a custom hook by specifying the hook name and priority. 

Enable On Checkout Page: Checkmark this option to enable the checkbox on the checkout page.

Specify its placement by choosing from the following options:

  • WooCommerce Checkout Before Customer Details
  • WooCommerce Checkout Billing
  • WooCommerce Checkout Shipping
  • WooCommerce Checkout Before Order Review Heading
  • WooCommerce Checkout Before Order Review
  • WooCommerce Checkout Order Review
  • Custom Hook: Use a custom hook by specifying the hook name and priority. 

Entering a Custom Text for the Terms and Conditions

Text Area: Click on “Add New” in the Text Area to create a new custom text entry.

Title: Specify a Title for your custom text to help identify it easily.

Required: Mark the text as Required if agreement to these terms is mandatory for customers.

Terms and Conditions Details: Enter the Terms and Conditions Details, where you can input your custom text, providing information about your store’s policies, regulations, or any other relevant details you want customers to agree to.

Customizing Error Message

Error Message: If a customer fails to agree to the terms and conditions, you can provide a custom Error Message that will be displayed to them.

Once you’ve entered the necessary details, click on “Publish” to create the new rule.

Managing Terms and Conditions in a Log

Go to WooCommerce > Addify Terms and Conditions. 

Here, you can:

  • Handle all terms and conditions rules conveniently within a single log.
  • Choose to create a new terms and conditions rule by clicking on the respective option.
  • Edit any existing rule as needed to update or modify the terms and conditions.
  • Perform bulk actions to streamline management tasks efficiently, such as deleting multiple rules simultaneously or applying specific settings to multiple rules at once.

Defining Character Length for the Terms and Conditions

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Terms and Conditions for WooCommerce.

Characters Length: Specify the maximum character length for the terms and conditions text.

After defining the character length, click on “Save Changes” to apply the settings.
