Choosing Between Fixed or Percentage-based Donation Types
To choose between fixed or percentage-based tipping types for tipping on your WooCommerce store using the Tipping at Cart & Checkout plugin, follow these steps:
Install and Activate the Plugin:
Make sure you have installed and activated the Tipping at Cart & Checkout plugin on your WordPress website.
Access Tipping or Donation Settings:
Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
Configure Tipping or Donation Settings:
Within the WooCommerce settings, click on the “Tipping at Cart & Checkout” tab.
Enable Tipping Extension:
Checkmark the option labeled “Enable Tipping Extension” to activate the tipping functionality on your store.
Locate Tipping Type:
Look for the “Tipping Type” section within the Settings.
Choose Between Fixed or Percentage-based Donation:
In the “Tipping Type” section, you have two options:
- Fixed: Select this option if you want to allow customers to donate a fixed amount. If you choose this option, you need to set a specific amount for tipping or donation by filling in the “Tipping Fixed Amount Options” field.
- Percentage: Choose this option if you prefer to offer customers the ability to donate a percentage of their total order amount. Define predefined percentage options (e.g., 5%, 10%, 15%) excluding 0 in the “Tipping Percentage Options” field.
Save Changes:
Once you have configured the tipping or donation settings according to your preferences, remember to save the changes.
