Setting Up a Advanced URL Coupon for WooCommerce – General Setting

Configuring General Settings of the URL Coupon

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced URL Coupons

1. URL Coupon Settings

From these settings, you can control the display for coupons on multiple pages of your store:

  • Hide Coupon Field: Choose to hide or show the coupon input field from the cart page.
  • Hide Applied Coupon: Check the box to hide or apply coupon option on the following pages:
    • Cart 
    • Checkout

2. Add a Custom Prefix 

Here, you can add any custom prefix or slug for the URL that you have created:

  • General Prefix: Add a custom prefix/slug for the URL; otherwise default, prefix applies (af_wuc)

3. Redirecting to Cart & Checkout Pages

This setting will let you decide on which page you want to redirect your customers after clicking on the link: 

  • Redirect To: From the drop down list, you can select the following pages:
    • Redirect users to Cart page
    • Redirect users to Checkout 

4. Restrict by Country

The setting will let you apply restrictions to specific regions for URL coupon, such as:

  • Country: Offer coupons in desired countries (leave empty to apply in all regions)

Click on Save Changes to apply the settings. 

Convert Existing Coupons to Url Coupons

Go to Marketing > Coupons> Coupon Data. Select any coupon from the list and click Edit

Coupon URL: Add preferred coupon prefix to associate URL with an existing coupon
