While creating and adding a new order status, you can customize the following settings:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Order Status Data&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Name: <\/strong>Enter a unique descriptive name for your custom order status&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Slug: <\/strong>Set the slug for the order status&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: The slug should consist of only lowercase letters, with no spaces, and words separated by hyphens (&#8220;-&#8220;)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Description: <\/strong>Provide a brief description of your custom order status<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Background Color: <\/strong>Choose a color that will be displayed behind the order status name<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Text Color: <\/strong>Select the icon color or text color of the order status name<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Graphic Style: <\/strong>Choose a graphic style for the order status. You can pick between:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Text<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Icon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>User Can Cancel: <\/strong>Mark this to allow customers cancel their orders at this status<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Paid: <\/strong>Select the payment status of users when their orders are in this status<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Orders are neither paid or nor require payment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Orders with the status have been paid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Orders with this status require payment (similar to pending payment)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bulk Action: <\/strong>Check this option to add this order status to Order list table Bulk action list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Display in Reports: <\/strong>Mark this to enable orders with this status to be included in sales and order reports<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hide from customer: <\/strong>Enabling this option will hide this order status from customers. In this section, you can easily manage all your existing email notification rules.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>View, edit, or delete any rule directly from the dashboard when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding a New Order Status Email Rule<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the &#8220;<strong>Add Order Status Email<\/strong>&#8221; button to create a new email rule. While setting up a new rule, you can configure the following settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rule Title: <\/strong>Assign the rule a unique title. Available placeholders include <strong>{first_name}, {last_name}, {site_title}, {order_date}, {order_number}, {order_status}<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: The first and last name indicates customer&#8217;s first and last name<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Custom Message: <\/strong>Add a custom message that you want to include in the status email alert. (<em>Note: Basic order details will be automatically included after this message<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Send Email To: <\/strong>Choose the recipient of the email. While configuring a new rule, you can customize it with the following options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Add Title: <\/strong>Provide a descriptive title for your automation rule<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Order Status:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>From Status: <\/strong>Select the initial order status that will trigger the rule<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>To Status: <\/strong>Choose the desired order status to which the order will transition automatically<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Time Interval:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Set Time Interval: <\/strong>Specify the time interval, in minutes, after which the order status will change from the &#8216;From Status&#8217; to the &#8216;To Status\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Order Quantity:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maximum Quantity: <\/strong>Set the maximum order quantity. The rule will apply only to orders with a quantity less than or equal to the specified value<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Minimum Quantity: <\/strong>Set the minimum order quantity. The rule will apply only to orders with a quantity equal to or greater than the specified value<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Order Amount:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maximum Amount: <\/strong>Define the maximum order subtotal. The rule will apply only to orders with a subtotal less than or equal to the specified value<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Minimum Amount: <\/strong>Set the minimum order subtotal. The rule will apply only to orders with a subtotal equal to or greater than the specified value<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Products:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Products: <\/strong>Select specific products for which the rule should apply. Leave this field empty to apply the rule to all products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Product Categories: <\/strong>Choose product categories for targeted rule application. Empty fields mean the rule applies to all categories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Countries:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Billing Countries: <\/strong>Specify billing countries to restrict the rule to orders from specific locations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Shipping Countries:<\/strong> Choose shipping countries to limit the rule&#8217;s application to specific regions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>User Roles:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>User Roles: <\/strong>Select user roles for which the rule will apply. Empty fields mean the rule is not role-specific.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date Created:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Date Created Before: <\/strong>If you want the rule to be applied only for orders created before some date, you can set it here.
