Managing exemption requests from the backend is straightforward. The admin panel provides all the necessary tools to approve, reject, or set expiration dates for exemptions.

I had the developers add custom functionality to help make tax exemption requests more self-service, similar to what Avalara does with one of their upcharge features. Addify did this, and then added these features to the main plugin branch so that all users can have access to them. Great communication throughout. I would definitely recommend trying this plugin before purchasing a more expensive alternative.
