Creating Multiple Attribute Price Markup or Discount Rules
Go to WooCommerce > Attribute Price > Add New Rule to create a new rule. Customize the rule using the following options:
- Add Title: Provide a descriptive title for the rule.
Rule Settings:
- Enable/Disable Rule: Enable the rule to activate the price markup or discount functionality or disable it to keep it inactive.
- Date: Schedule the rule by specifying a start and end date.
Markup/Discount Section:
- Add Group: Click on “Add Group” to organize product attributes and terms into groups.
- Group Title: Assign a title to each group.
- Apply On: Select whether to apply the rule to the Sale Price or the Regular Price.
- Adjustment Type: Choose how to modify prices:
- Fixed Increase: Add a fixed amount to the price.
- Fixed Decrease: Deduct a fixed amount from the price.
- Percentage Increase: Add a percentage to the price.
- Percentage Decrease: Deduct a percentage from the price.
- Fixed Price: Set a specific price for the product.
- Amount: Enter the exact value for the selected adjustment type.
- Add Attribute: Click on “Add Attribute” to select the product attribute and term to apply the rule.
Restrictions Section:
- Select User Roles: Limit the rule to specific customer roles or leave blank for all roles.
- Apply on Entire Catalog: Check this box to apply the rule to all products; leave it unchecked to apply restrictions:
- Products: Choose to exclude or include desired products and categories
- Select Products: Specify which products to include or exclude.
- Select Categories: Specify which categories to include or exclude.
Rule Priority:
- Order: Define the sequence in which the rule applies, especially when multiple rules exist.
Marking Up or Discounting Prices at Attribute and Term Levels
Go to Products > Attributes and select an attribute to edit. To modify specific terms, go to Products > Attributes > Terms > Configure Terms > Edit.
- Enable: Activate or deactivate price markup or discounts.
- Apply On: Select whether to apply the rule to sales or regular prices.
- Adjustment Type: Choose from the following:
- Fixed Increase
- Fixed Decrease
- Percentage Increase
- Percentage Decrease
- Fixed Price
- Amount: Specify the exact value for markup, discount, or fixed pricing.
