Need to set certain users to be tax exempt, like B2B customers? Here’s how to do it:
- Go to Addify Role Based Tax > Rules, then click the “+” to make a new rule
- Give the rule a name and priority
- For Tax Rules, do not select any tax (or select 0%)
- Enable Customer Group and choose the group you want to exclude from tax (for example, Visitor)
- Leave the product/category settings as irrelevant, or choose to apply to all products
- Click save. Customers in that group who go through checkout will not see taxes
