Setting Up Prestashop Advanced Pre Order
Activating the Module
General Settings:
Module Active: Choose Yes/No to Activate or Deactivate this Module
Show Preorder Detail: Display details of the pre-order on the customer account
Show Preorder Product Availability Date: Display the pre-order product’s availability date on the product page
Show Counter Countdown: Display a countdown on the product page
Show Preorder Payment Content: Display the content related to pre-order payments on the product page
Partial/Dynamic Preorder Vouchers Expiry Time: Set the expiration time for partial or dynamic preorder vouchers. Options include:
- 1 Year
- 5 Years
- 6 Months
- 3 Months
- 1 Month
Full Payment Content: Display information about full payment for pre-order products
Partial/Dynamic Payment Content: Specify variable names for partial/dynamic payment content. Available Variables:
- {preorderPrice} for pre-order price
- {originalPrice} for original price
- Original price will display with an overline
Viewing Pre Order Rules in a Log
Here you can:
- View a complete list of all Pre Order rules with the following details:
- Priority
- Title
- Status
- Maximum Pre Order Quantity
- Available Pre Order Quantity
- Change the status of rule activation in a log
- Perform bulk action to delete any rule
- Edit individual rules
Adding a New Pre Order Rule
Click on the “+” button to initiate the creation of a new Pre Order rule. Fill in the following details:
Rule Enable: Enable or disable this rule
Title: Enter a title for the rule
Priority: Enter a numeric value for priority
Groups: Select the customer group(s) for the rule:
- Visitor
- Guest
- Customer
Product: Search and add the product you want to set as a preorder
Product Original Price: Enter the price of the product
Quantity for this Product: Specify quantity
Payment Type: Select the payment type for the rule:
- Full Payment
- Partial Payment
- Dynamic Payment
Maximum Quantity for Preorder: Set the total quantity of this product available for preorder
Expected Availability Date of Preorder Product: Set the expected date of availability for the preorder product
Managing Pre Orders in a Log
Here you can:
- View all orders in a log with the following details:
- Order ID
- Reference
- Customer
- Amount Paid
- Remaining Amount
- Original Price
- Tax Paid
- Payment Method
- Preorder Completed
- Date
Click “View” to reach the details of each order.
