Restricting Product Price and “Add to Cart” Visibility for Specific Countries
Using this module, you can restrict product price and the visibility of the “Add to Cart” button for specific countries. This feature is essential for online store owners who want to control the shopping experience for customers from different regions.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to restrict product price and “Add to Cart” visibility using the Addify Country Restriction Module.
Installing the Addify Country Restriction Module:
Download and install the Addify Country Restriction Module.
Activate the module by navigating to your store’s module or plugin section and clicking on the “Activate” button.
Ensure the module is configured properly and ready for use by checking the settings.
In the General Settings tab, enable the module to activate country restrictions.
Creating a New Country Restriction Rule:
Navigate to the Country Restriction Rule Log within the module.
Click on the “+” icon located at the top right corner of the screen to create a new restriction rule.
Configuring the Restriction Settings:
In the Restriction Settings section, configure the following options to control product visibility and “Add to Cart” functionality:
Select Restriction Type:
Choose the Restriction Type: Decide whether to hide the entire product or just specific elements like the price and the “Add to Cart” button.
Select “Hide Only Price and Add to Cart”: To hide only the price and “Add to Cart” button, select this option. This setting will allow the product to be visible, but the key purchase actions will be hidden.
Hide Only Price and “Add to Cart” Button:
Enable: Toggle this option to enable or disable hiding the price and “Add to Cart” button for the selected countries.
Enable Hide Price Message: Toggle this setting to display a custom message or URL when the product price is hidden.
Hide Price Custom Message: Enter a custom message or provide a URL that will be displayed in place of the product price. This could be a prompt to contact support or view a specific page.
Hide Add to Cart Button: Toggle this option to hide the “Add to Cart” button. This is especially useful if you want customers to inquire for more details or to take some other action.
Price Text Color: Customize the text color of the custom message that appears when the price is hidden. Choose a color that aligns with your store’s branding.
Price Background Color: Customize the background color for the hidden price message to make it visually distinct.
Selecting Countries for Restriction:
In the Select Country for Restriction field in the General Settings tab, choose the countries where you want to apply these restrictions.
Saving the Rule:
After configuring all the settings according to your requirements, click the “Save” button.
The rule will be activated, and the specified restrictions on product prices and the “Add to Cart” button will now be applied based on the country settings.
