You can allow customers to donate as a product by using Prestashop Donation Manager module. Enable the module from general settings. Now, from its rule settings, you can configure “Information” section, fill in the details, and move on to “Donation Advertisement” section. Enable the donate button, and now your customers can simply click on “Add to Cart” option and collect donations to their cart. For a detailed explanation, follow these steps:
1. Go to Module Manager and upload the module to install it to your PrestaShop store. Now click on Configure to add a donation campaign as a product.
2. Once clicked, move to its General Settings, Enable the module, general advertisement, and donation advertisement to configure detailed settings.
3. Now, navigate to Donation Rules and click on” +” symbol to add a new donation rule. Fill in the details and select specific customer groups to allow donations as a product only for them. Set custom/fixed price and expiry date for donation campaign.
4. Once you have added the details, from the top menu, click on “Donation Advertisements.” From this section, you can feature your donation campaign as a product on your store.
5. Add title, description, background images, and Enable the donate button to allow customers to add the donation to their carts. Add custom button text and select colors for donate button text and background.
6. EnableDisable the donation campaign on the following pages of your store:
- Homepage
- Product Page
- Category Page
- Cart Page
- CMS Page
7. To add an image for the product, click on “Images” section and upload a file to display donation product image.
Click on “Save,” and now you have successfully featured the donation campaign as a product on your store.
