To create extra product options for a single product, you can use PrestaShop Custom Product Field module. Once it’s installed, you can go to Modules > Modules Manager > Addify Product Options and Attributes and click on Configure. First, you need to set parent heading and extra options styling from the general settings, and then go to “Specific Configuration” settings. Here you can select any specific product and add desired option for it. For detailed overview, follow these steps:
1. Activate the module and go to its General Settings. Here you can add custom heading for extra product option ( parent heading) and total price label.
2. Now, from the main menu, click ‘Specific Configuration‘. From this section, you can create and manage multiple options for a single product. To add a new rule, click on “+”.
3. Activate specific option and add its unique name and description.
4. Select price mode as:
- Fixed amount
- Percentage amount
5. Enter custom price for the option and make it taxable or non-taxable
6. Scroll down and choose to make this field optional or mandatory for customers.
7. Add custom image for the option and enable product selection. Search for any product and restrict this option to selected item only.
Save the settings
8. Now, to display this option, go to “Additional Options Group” and click on “+”. Enable the group add its name and select its display style.
9. Scroll down and go to “Choose a Field”. From the dropdown, select the field you just created. Click save and you have successfully added an extra option for an individual product.
10. You can also add additional fields for the selected product from the previous settings and make it a complete bundle.
