Create Multiple Rules of Prestashop Order Restriction
Go to PrestaShop > Addify Order Restriction > Rules to access a detailed log of all orders. Here, you can create and manage multiple order restriction rules efficiently.
By clicking on the Rules section, you will be able to configure the order rules with the provided option, such as:
- View all product refund rules in a log
- Execute bulk actions
- Change the status of each rule
- Take action to edit or delete the rule
While creating a new rule, click on “+” and fill in all the necessary information as follows:
Activate Rule: Choose to enable/disable the rule
Rule Name: Select a specific title for the rule
Rule Priority: Set a priority for each rule
Customer Group: Choose to enable/disable customer groups
- Group: Choose to select one or more customer groups to implement restrictions such as:
- Visitor (Unregistered users)
- Guest (Users who checkout as guests)
- Customer (Registered users)
All Products: Choose to enable/disable all products option
- If you select yes, then all products will be available in your store, but restrictions on the basis of cart quantity & total quantity will still apply.
- If you choose to disable, then you won’t have to apply any product restrictions manually, everything will follow the module’s settings automatically.
Cart Total Quantity Restriction: Choose to enable or disable this feature to apply the total quantity restriction on the cart page.
- Enable: Selecting this option will limit the total number of items a customer can add to their cart. Enabling these features will provide options like:
- Order Minimum Quantity Limit: Enter the minimum number of items required for an order.
- Order Maximum Quantity Limit: Enter the maximum number of items allowed per order.
- Previous Order Quantity Days Limit: Set a time frame (in days) to check previous orders of a customer and apply quantity restrictions accordingly.
- Disable: No restrictions on the number of items in the cart will apply if you choose to disable.
Cart Total Order Amount Restriction: Choose to enable or disable this feature to apply order amount restrictions on the cart page.
- Enable: Selecting this option will impose restrictions on the total order amount in the cart. Enabling this feature will provide the following options:
- Minimum Order Amount: Enter the minimum order value required for checkout. Customers must meet this amount to proceed with their purchase.
- Maximum Order Amount: Enter the maximum order value allowed per order. Customers cannot place an order exceeding this amount.
- Previous Orders Amount Days Limit: Set a time frame (in days) to check a customer’s past order total and apply restrictions accordingly.
- Disable: No restrictions on the order amount will apply if you choose to disable this feature.
Rule Scheduler: Choose to enable/disable the option
- Enable: Choosing yes will apply restriction only within a certain period
- Disable: If you select this option, then the restriction will always remain to be active
Set Rule Start and End Dates: Integrate the start and end date when the restriction rule should begin or end.
Order Quantity Messages Customization
You can display quantity messages on product and cart pages based on order rules, guiding customers to meet minimum and maximum limits. You can also customize the font size and color for better clarity. Following are the settings explained:
Product Quantity Restriction Messages
Configure the messages displayed on the product page based on quantity restrictions.
- Before Reaching The Product Quantity: This message appears on the product page when the customer has not yet reached the required minimum quantity for the selected products.
- Message: You can enter a custom message for your customers
- Placeholder: Demonstrate the remaining quantity needed to meet the minimum requirement.
- Font Size: Choose to enter a number for the message
- Font Color: Choose a color for the message
- By Reaching The Product Quantity: This message appears when the customer has reached the minimum or maximum quantity limit for the selected products.
