Limiting File Downloads by Customer Groups
The PrestaShop Product Attachments Pro module provides store owners with an efficient way to share critical downloadable files with their customers. By segmenting file access by customer groups and imposing download limits, businesses can better manage resources, maintain exclusivity, and cater to the unique needs of different customer segments. To activate this functionality:
Access the Module: After installation, navigate to the backend and go to Modules > Installed Modules. Select Addify Product Attachments Pro to begin configuration.
Enable the Module: In the General Settings tab, ensure the module is activated:
Toggle the Enable button to activate the module’s functionality.
Create a Rule:
Go to the Rules tab.
Click on the + icon to create a new rule.
Set Download Limits:
Locate the Download Limit field.
Enter the maximum number of downloads allowed per file.
Select Customer Groups:
In the Customer Group section, choose the customer group(s) you wish to assign file access to.
Save the Rule:
Provide all required details for the rule.
Click Save to finalize the configuration.
