Restricting File Visibility Before or After Order Placement
Using this module, you can ensure that downloadable files are accessible only when appropriate. This feature is particularly useful for providing post-purchase resources like invoices, manuals, or installation guides.
To restrict file visibility before or after order placement, follow these steps:
After installation at the backend, go to Modules and navigate to the installed Modules section.
Select Addify Product Attachments Pro to begin configuration.
Navigate to the General Settings tab of the module.
Locate the Module toggle:
- Enable: Activate the module to add downloadable attachments.
Navigate to the Rules tab and click on the + icon to create a new rule.
Configure the rule details:
- Accessibility Only After the Order: Enable this option to restrict file visibility to customers who have completed their orders.
Provide the necessary details of the rule and click Save.
