Showing feature images based on customer groups is crucial for personalizing the shopping experience. Different customer groups may have unique needs and preferences, and displaying relevant product features can make the shopping process more intuitive and efficient for them.
Below is the step-by-step guide to implement this functionality to your store.
Install and Activate the Module:
- Download the PrestaShop Product Features as Images module.
- Log in to your PrestaShop back office.
- Go to Modules and Services > Modules and Services.
- Click Upload a module and select the downloaded file.
- Once the module is uploaded, click Install and then Activate the module.
Access the Module Configuration Page:
- After activating the module, find it in the list of installed modules.
- Click on Configure to open the module’s settings.
Enable Icons on Product Pages:
- In the module configuration page, locate the option labeled Show icons at the product page.
- Check or enable this option to allow feature images to be displayed on product pages.
Select Customer Groups:
- After enabling the above option, a new setting will appear labeled Enable User.
- Select the customer group(s) for which you want to display the feature images.
- This can be done by checking the boxes next to the desired customer groups.
Save Changes:
- Scroll down to the bottom of the configuration page.
- Click Save to apply the changes and ensure that the feature images are shown for the selected customer groups.
