Setting Up Prestashop Activate/Deactivate Product Combinations

Rule Creation Settings

When you click on the rules option, the rules tab will open, where you can: 

• View all the existing rules in a grid view. You can also edit or delete the rule as needed. 
• Create a New rule 

If you want to create a new rule → click on the “Add New (+)” icon and add the following details:

• Rule: Enable or disable the rule by using this toggle button.
• Title: Add the custom title of this rule.
• Priority: Set the priority of the rule.
• Customer Group selection: Enable this option to choose the customer group that will be able to view the product combination. If enabled:
  • Customer Group: Choose the customer groups that view the product combination.
• All products: Enable this option to apply the rules to all products. If this option is disabled, the product selection option will open, where you can:
  • Product Selection: Enable/disable this option to select the product for the combination. If enabled:
    • Products: Search and select the products to add the product combination.
• Category Selection: Enable or disable this option to choose the specific category for product combination, and only the specific customer will be able to view the product and related categories. If enabled:
  • Categories: Choose the specific categories that are added in a collection.
• Manufacturer Selection: Enable this option to choose the specific manufacturer.
  • Manufacturers: Select the specific manufacturer in a list.
• Supplier Selection: Enable this option to choose the specific supplier for this combination. If enabled:
  • Suppliers: Choose the specific supplier in a list.
• Rule Scheduling: Enable/Disable this option to schedule the rule. In case of enabled:
  • Start Date: Add the start date of the rule scheduling.
  • End Date: Add the end date of rule scheduling.
• Save: Click on the “Save” button to apply them.
• Cancel: Click on “Cancel” if you want to close the tab without any change.

Bulk Products Import

Click on Bulk Products Import to open the bulk import view, where you can:

• Select a file to upload: Choose a CSV file to upload the product combination in bulk.

Deactivated Combination

Open the Deactivated Combination  to open the logs of bulk combinations, where you can:

• View the logs of all deactivated combinations in a grid view.

Grid: 

• ID: Display the ID of deactivated products.
• Product Name: Show the name of Products.
• Combination: Display the combination of products. 
• Status: Display the status of deactivated products. 
• Action: Easily edit or delete the deactivated combination.

Product Level Settings

You can activate or deactivate a product status from the product level settings. To enable or disable the status of a product combination, follow these steps:

• Go to the Catalog option.
• Select Products from the dropdown menu to open the list of all existing products.
• Choose any product from the list to open its details.
• Click on the Combinations tab to view all product combinations in a grid view.
• To enable or disable a combination, go to the Status column in the grid, where a toggle button is available. 
• Use the toggle to activate or deactivate the combination.

You can easily switch the toggle on or off based on your requirements. When the toggle is enabled, the product combination is active. When it is disabled, the product combination will be deactivated.
