Adding Text-Based Custom Stock Status
WooCommerce Custom Stock Status plugin offers four different types of messages to display about stock availability, one of which is the text-based custom stock status. Using the Text Message based option will create urgency among customers.
To add a text-based custom stock status in WooCommerce using a plugin like “WooCommerce Custom Stock Status,” you can follow these steps:
- First, install and activate the “WooCommerce Custom Stock Status” plugin.
- Once the plugin is activated, navigate to WooCommerce in your WordPress dashboard and click on Custom Stock.
- You’ll find an option to Add New stock status. Enter a name for your custom stock status.
- Add Sub Rules for Messages. Go to Message Type and select the desired option from the dropdown.
- You can choose from the three text-based options, which are:
- Text Message
- Text Message with Icon
- Text Message with Date
- Fill in the required options. Next, click on Add Rule and Publish.
You can also choose to customize the text message’s font color and size according to your store requirements.
