Specifying A Time Period for Discount
To specify a time period for discounts in WooCommerce using the Dynamic Pricing and Discounts plugin, you can follow these steps:
For Cart Discount Rules:
- Go to your WordPress admin panel and navigate to WooCommerce > Cart Discount Rules.
- Create a new Cart Discount Rule or edit an existing one.
- In the rule editing interface, locate the “Rule Settings” section.
- In the “Days for discount” option, you have two choices:
- “All Days“: Select this option if you want the discount to apply every day without any specific restrictions.
- “Specific Days“: Choose this option to specify particular days of the week when the discount should be active.
- After selecting your preferred option, set the “Start Date of Rule” to determine when the cart rule should start applying. This is the date from which the discount will become active.
- Define the “End Date of Rule” to specify when the cart rule should automatically deactivate. This is the date until which the discount will remain active.
- Save the changes to apply the time period settings to your Cart Discount Rule.
For Product Pricing Rules:
- Go to your WordPress admin panel and navigate to WooCommerce > Cart Discount Rules > Product Pricing Rules.
- Create a new Product Pricing Rule or edit an existing one.
- In the rule editing interface, locate the “Rule Settings” section.
- Similar to Cart Discount Rules, in the “Days for discount” option, you can choose between:
- “All Days“: This option ensures that the discount applies every day.
- “Specific Days“: Choose this option to specify particular days of the week when the discount should be active.
- Set the “Start Date of Rule” to indicate when the product rule should begin applying. This marks the date from which the discount takes effect.
- Define the “End Date of Rule” to specify when the product rule should cease to apply. This is the date until which the discount will be active.
- Save the changes to apply the time period settings to your Product Pricing Rule.
