Configuration of WooCommerce Min Max Quantities by User Roles
Configuring Min & Max Quantities Globally
Go to WooCommerce > Addify Min Max Quantity > Global. Here, you will find options to configure minimum and maximum quantities, step quantity, and disable quantity limits for specific countries.
Settings For Min Max Quantity:
In the settings table, you can customize quantity limits against each user role. Here’s a breakdown of the parameters you can specify:
- Min Quantity: This defines the minimum quantity allowed for each user role. Users belonging to the specified role cannot purchase quantities below this limit.
- Max Quantity: This sets the maximum quantity allowed for each user role. Users belonging to the specified role cannot purchase quantities exceeding this limit.
- Step Quantity: This option allows you to set the increment value for quantities. For example, if the step quantity is set to 2, users can only purchase quantities in multiples of 2.
- Disable Countries: Here, you can choose specific countries for which you want to disable quantity limits. Users from these countries will not be subjected to the quantity restrictions set in the global settings.
Once you have adjusted the settings, click on “Save Settings” to apply the changes.
Excluding User Roles for Global Limitations
Go to WooCommerce > Addify Min Max Quantity > General Settings.
Exclude Roles: Choose the user roles from the dropdown menu that you want to exclude from the quantity limitations.
After selecting the desired roles, click on “Save Changes” to apply the functionality.
Setting Minimum & Maximum Quantities for Products
Go to Products in the WordPress Admin panel. Choose to edit an existing product or add a new product to apply quantity limitations.
On the product editing page, find the “Product Data” section and then select “Min Max Settings”.
In the Min Max Settings table, you can customize quantity limits against each user role. Specify the following parameters:
- Min Quantity: Define the minimum quantity allowed for the product.
- Max Quantity: Set the maximum quantity allowed for the product.
- Step Quantity: Optionally, set the increment value for quantities.
- Disable Countries: Choose specific countries for which you want to disable quantity limits for this product.
Once you have configured the quantity settings according to your preferences, click on “Publish” to save the product details.
