Setting Up WooCommerce Share Cart URLS
Configuring General Settings
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Share Cart URL > General Settings tab.
In this section, you can customize various options to align the feature with your specific needs. Here are the configurable settings:
Enable/Disable: Toggle this checkbox to activate or deactivate the plugin
Link Key Length: Adjust the length of the link key (default is 7; customizable between 7 and 60)
Prefix Key Name: Optionally add a prefix to the custom string, such as your store name (e.g., “Daraz”)
Button Label: Set the label for the share cart URL button (default is “Share”)
Button Background Color: Customize the button’s background color to match your store’s style (default is white, #ffffff)
Button Font Color: Modify the font color (default is Black, #000000)
Text: Customize the message displayed on the cart page
Country: Specify the countries where the “Share” button will be enabled, with various options in the dropdown menu
User Role: Define the user roles that can access the “Share” button. Options include:
- Administrator
- Editor
- Author
- Contributor
- Subscriber
- Customer
- Shop Manager
- Wholesale
- B2B
- Retailer
- Guest
- Author
Note: Leaving this field empty will allow all user roles to use the button
Click “Save Changes” to apply the new settings.
Enabling Multiple Sharing Platforms
WooCommerce Share Cart URL Plugin provides seamless integration with popular sharing platforms, enabling your customers to easily share their shopping carts with their friends, family, and followers. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Share Cart Url > Sharing Platforms tab.
Facebook: Enable this to allow customers to share their shopping cart via Facebook
WhatsApp: Enable this to allow customers to share their shopping cart via WhatsApp
Twitter: Enable this to allow customers to share their shopping cart via Twitter
Email: Enable this to allow customers to share their shopping cart via email
Click “Save Changes” to save the changes you have made.
Viewing All Share Cart URLs
To view the Share Cart URLs generated on your store, go to WooCommerce > All Share Cart URLs.
This section lists all shared cart URLs, which can be filtered and managed by title and date. Click on any specific URL in the list to view its details.
