How to Control Coupon Display in the Cart and Checkout Pages?

Advanced URL coupon for WooCommerce allows you to control the display of coupon field on cart and checkout page. Follow these steps to configure the following settings: 

Step 1: Create a Coupon through a rule 

To create a URL Coupon, Click on Add new coupon and follow these instructions: 

  • You first need to add a coupon title and select a preferred coupon from the list. Now, add specific products and click on Add Product. Set the quantity for the selected item and customize a success message for users.
  • Click on Publish, and your new URL coupon will be created 

Step 2: Go to Coupon Display settings

To manage coupon display, go to:

WordPress Admin Panel > WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced URL Coupon

Now, you can view the general settings and easily manage where the coupons will be displayed.

Step 3: Hide Coupon Field

 By checking the box, you can control these two settings: 

  • Hide url coupon from cart page
    • You can also leave it empty if you wish to show the coupon code field to the users 

Step 4: Hide applied Coupon Field:

Once the user applies the coupon, it shows discounted prices on the cart page, along with specific rates that are excluded. With these settings, you can easily control the display of applied coupon discount: 

  • Hide Applied coupon from cart page
    • Once the option is checked, the applied coupon details will not appear on the cart page. Leave it empty to show the details to the user.
  • Hide Applied coupon from checkout 
    • Check the box to hide applied coupon from the checkout page and leave it empty to the option
