Apply Restrictions in Six Modes

WooCommerce Restrict Items in Cart gives you the option to choose from six different restriction types to create multiple restriction rules. These six restriction modes are as follows:

Product Quantity – Restrictions can be applied based on the quantity of each product. 

Category Quantity – A single category or a group of categories can be subjected to a restriction.

Cart Total Amount – It is possible to impose restrictions based on the total amount in the cart rather than on specific products or categories. 

Total Cart Quantity – You can also limit the total number of items in your cart. When the cart quantity exceeds a certain limit, purchases are not allowed.

Shipping Methods – Shipping methods can be hidden based on user roles, cart totals, and more. For each shipping method, you can also define a maximum weight limit (flat, local, and more).

Payment Methods – The visibility of payment methods can also be controlled by users, user roles, and cart quantities, same as shipping methods.

Apply Restrictions Based on User Roles and Duration

With Cart Restrictions for WooCommerce, additional restrictions can be added to the six restriction modes by limiting the roles and durations of users.

Specific Customers and User Roles – Select customers or user roles, such as B2B, wholesalers, customers, and more to be restricted by the plugin.

Reset Duration – You can extend a purchasing window by using the duration reset option. For example, it’s possible to provide customers an additional seven days to acquire additional products from a restricted offering.

Rule Duration – Rule start and end dates can also be applied using this plugin. The rule will no longer apply to purchases after the end date.
