Enabling Prestashop Role Based Tax
Module Active: Use this setting to quickly control whether the tax features are active or not.
- If you enable it, all tax rules and settings will start working based on your configurations.
- If you disable it, the module will stop applying any tax rules, and it will not affect your store.
Create Multiple Rules
Go to PrestaShop > Addify Role Based Tax > Rules to access a detailed log. Here, you can create and manage rules efficiently.
By clicking on the Rules section, you will be able to configure the Role Based Tax rules with the provided option, such as:
- View all role base tax rules in a log
- Execute bulk actions
- Change the status of each rule
- Take action to edit or delete the rule
While creating a new rule, click on “+” and fill in all the necessary information as follows:
Enabled / Disabled Rule: Activate or deactivate specific rule for the role base tax on the store. When disabled the rule will not be applied even if the module is active behind
Name: Enter a unique name for your ax rule that is easy for you to identify it later
Rule Priority: Set a priority number to control the order in which tax rules apply. Lower numbers mean higher priority.
Tax Rules: Select the tax that should be applied to the chosen products.
- To create a new tax rule, click the “Manage Tax Rules” button.
Customer Group Enabled / Disabled: Turn this on to apply the rule to specific customer groups.
Group Selection: Choose from available groups:
- Visitor
- Guest
- Customer
Select one or more groups for this tax rule to apply.
All Products: Enable this to apply the tax rule to all products in your store.
Specific Product Selection: Turn on to apply the rule only to selected products.
- Use the Search Product box to find and add products.
Category Selection: Enable to apply tax rules to specific categories only.
- Select desired categories like Home, etc.
Supplier Selection: Use this to target specific suppliers.
- Choose one or more suppliers (e.g., Accessories supplier, Fashion supplier).
Manufacturer Selection: Use this to apply tax rules to selected manufacturers.
- Choose from available options (e.g., Graphic Corner, Studio Design).
