How to Set Specific Rule Start and End Dates in Defining Rule Limit in Prestashop?

Setting Start & End Dates for a Specific Rule

To set specific start and end dates for a rule in PrestaShop using the “Automatic Role Changer” module, follow these steps:

Access Rule Timing

In the “Automatic Role Changer” module’s configuration, where you are defining or editing a rule, you will find the Rule Timing section.

Set the Rule Starting Date:

In the “Rule Starting Date” field, enter the starting date for when you want this rule to become active. This means the rule will only be applied to customers who meet the defined conditions on or after this starting date.

Set the Rule Ending Date:

In the “Rule Ending Date” field, enter the ending date for when you want this rule to no longer be active. This means the rule will be applied to customers who meet the defined conditions until this ending date. If you want the rule to be active indefinitely without an end date, you can leave this field blank.

Set Group Ending Limit (Optional):

If you want to specify a duration for which customers will be assigned to the new group before being switched back to their original group, enter a numeric value in the “Group Ending Limit” field. This value represents the number of days. Make sure to save your rule configuration after setting the specific start and end dates. The rule will then be active only within the specified date range, as defined by the start and end dates.
